Warehouse Team Lead 1st Shift

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

This person reports directly to the shift supervisor as a critical part of the Warehouse Team. This person is primarily responsible to help the supervisor in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department.


Essential Function of the Job - Includes but not limited to:

  • Communicate with shift supervisor of any problems, suggestion, etc.
  • Ensure all production lines have proper material and either provide missing components or alert the proper individual
  • Verify product being produced meets the quality and packaging requirements
  • Training of new production personnel
  • Able to familiarize themselves with part number and assembly product
  • Make certain all areas are restocked
  • Must be able to operate material handling equipment.
  • Schedule break assignments and relieve breaks
  • Support supervisor and assist as needed
  • Direct department clean up at end of shift
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Work proactively to foster and maintain a positive team-oriented atmosphere. Works together with fellow associates, team leads, and supervisors as a team to promote the goals and common good of the company.


Qualification and/or Skills Required:


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required. Must be capable of planning daily workloads and solving problems. Also, needs to have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
