Construction Permit Coordinator

Job Description

A successful candidate will be responsible for:

Process permits electronically or in person to multiple municipalities.

Check permit status on awaiting permits from municipalities

Log permit issues, application problems.

Outbound calling and follow-up for scheduling permit inspections with homeowners, and developers

Schedule future inspections with municipalities

Schedule and follow-up on all repairs for failed permits through designated field technician & management.

Process and maintain records of permitting status daily

Excel reports on open and/or ongoing permits

Report to management on daily/weekly permit status

Position requirements:

Minimum of 2-3 years of high volume permitting ``helpful but not necessary. Strong administrative with customer service experience.

Must be able to work Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm

Occasional Saturday if work load requires

Must be organized & detailed oriented

Clear, concise and professional verbal communication skills

Strong ability to multi-task and handle pressure

Computer literate with strong data entry skills

Basic level Excel skills
