GENERAL FUNCTION:
Job Coach –
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Excellent reading, writing, and verbal skills
· Work experience in this or a related field
· Valid Louisiana license
· Dependable transportation available on the job
Demonstrated ability to:
· Articulate and follow ARCO’s philosophy
· Read, comprehend, and implement program guidelines and standards
· Learn new information quickly
· Move fluidly from one plan to another
· Process information under a variety of conditions
· Work with persons with developmental disabilities and family dynamics and respond appropriately
· Work flexible days/hours
· Organize work
· Work as a team
· Interact and work with other departments
· Respond to safety and related issues
· Communicate and coordinate with other departments in a positive relationship
· Assess skills/abilities/preferences of the participant
· Model behavior and interactions appropriate to community standards
