Job Description
Backyard Barbers is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, fun loving manager to help build the store to the next level. The manager is accountable for the effective operation of the business in the absence of the store owner. This includes developing the team and store to the next level. Must be a working manager that performs the services of the shop.
Management duties include:
· Building and maintaining a fun, team atmosphere
· Recognizes problems and evaluates solutions or alternatives while maintaining professionalism, effectiveness and flexibility at all times
· Demonstrates a sense of urgency to meet store and Client needs
· Understands the effect of decisions on overall objectives and Team motivation· Maintains an open door of communication with store owner, clients, suppliers and relevant community groups, building positive relationships.
· Provides direction and serves as an example to other team members
· Develops ,retains and hires Team Members; meets with Team Members regularly to review individual and Team goals; sets expectations, and provides constructive feedback for growth
· Analyzes and interprets reports to create action plans for themselves and other Team Members
· Monitors and coaches to help achieve store business goals and technical progress with team members.
Supplemental pay types:
• Bonus pay
• Commission pay
• Signing bonus, $250 after 3 months, $250 after 6 months

Experience:
• Hair Styling: 1-3 years (Required)
• Barbering 1-3 years
License/Certification:
• Barbering License (Preferred)
• Cosmetology License (Required)
Shift availability:
• 40 hours
• 10am-6pm and 11am-7pm
• Saturdays ( Required) 9am-5pm
Closed Sunday and Monday
Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 to $45.00 per HOUR
