JGR Services is the foodservice operation for bestbet. Currently there are three locations, bestbet Jacksonville, bestbet Orange Park, and our third location, bestbet St Augustine. You'll be working for a great company that recruits great people for the #1 Poker Room in Florida with a state-of-the-art simulcast wagering system.

bestbet Jacksonville is Florida’s largest poker room, boasting 88 tables, and has become a regular stop on the World Poker Tour. Our deli-style eatery and tableside waitress service with full-service beer wine and liquor along with our own pizza place and Starbucks coffee shop allows patrons to relax and choose from a tasteful selection of fresh food and drink while they enjoy the finest in poker action. bestbet Jacksonville has more than 200 televisions from 17" to 120" bring our patrons the excitement of every race up close and personal. It's just as good as being trackside--they see all the action. Individual table-top TV's complement Vegas-style carrel seating for excellent private viewing. Watch and wager on world-class greyhound, thoroughbred and harness racing from across the country along with Jai Alai.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct interviews, hire, train, and guide incoming kitchen team members
• Scheduling kitchen team members
• Hold team members accountable for their actions, work, attitude, and attendance
• Collaboration with our management team to conduct inventory counts in order to maintain adequate inventory levels
• Ensure that kitchen equipment is in clean, operating condition
• Ensure that all food items and products are properly stored, prepared, and served based on set recipes, preparation,
and portion standards
• Ensure team members adhere to company standards for safe food handling and maintaining clean and orderly working areas

* State Card Room License is required and can be obtained at the time of hiring
* Food Handler Certification a plus and will be required within 60 days of hiring

The 40,673-square foot facility is the only cardroom and sports bar in St. Augustine and runs poker games of all limits, weekly poker tournaments, great daily promotions, and has a popular sushi bar. The cardroom and sports bar has over 80 TVs along with a spacious simulcast area while the sports bar serves up all our patrons’ game day favorites and drinks.
