The
Warehouse Supervisor is a critical role within our warehouse department and is
responsible for making sure all inventory is accounted for accurately and
placed in the most efficient locations for the Distribution Centers flow.
Responsibilities
- As
a member of the Warehouse team, you will supervise the warehouse team,
implementation, and maintenance of logistics processes, and oversee
inventory management, security, and safety of the warehouse
- Interacts
closely with customer service and production to ensure timely delivery of
products to customers
- The
Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for creating and updating all
training guides for their department
- They
will assist the Team Leads in answering any questions raised by associates
- Monitor
their team’s daily performance and workload, providing regular reports to
management
- Work
with Team Leads to develop associates with performance or productivity
issues
- Work
with management where progressive disciplinary action may be needed
- Manage
warehouse projects, providing management with regular reports, and
ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion
- Generates
a variety of reports using NetSuite and Microsoft Excel, providing
in-depth analysis to management
- Lead
team by example regarding attendance, performance, productivity, and
safety
- Work
with other departments to problem solve orders with inventory issues or
changes needed
- Make
sure departments daily responsibilities are complete by end of shift,
providing support in any area needed
- Able
to function as back-up for Warehouse Manager
- Utilize
personal protective equipment as required for personal safety
- Works proactively to always foster and
maintain a positive team-oriented atmosphere.
- Works together with supervisors
as a team to promote the goals and common good of the company.

Qualifications
- 2 years of supervisory / leadership experience in
an industrial setting
- Experience with ERP/WMS (preferably NetSuite) and
ShipHawk shipping software desired
- Relevant experience includes materials, warehouse
and/or distribution fields with specialization in inventory control
- Experience in scheduling freight pick-ups and
maintaining accurate documentation
- Proven track record in supervision of warehouse
employees including Hiring, Training, and Termination
- Demonstrates the ability to delegate and
follow-up.
- Develops new ideas, systems and technology, with
ability to plan, execute, control and deliver
- Able to communicate effectively both written and
verbal in English
- Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse
associates
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
(written and verbal)
- Strong organization and prioritizing skills
- Experience with E Commerce highly desired
shipments to Amazon, Zulily, Shopify etc.
- Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks
- Ability to solve problems and make effective
decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate PC skills with knowledge of Outlook
- Intermediate computer experience, ideally with
Microsoft products
- Ability to stand for long period of times
- Ability to safely operate material handling
equipment as needed
- Ability to work in warehouse environment on
concrete flooring
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Salary range is $52,000 - $60,000 to start, based on experience / qualifications
This
position is expected to work hours necessary to complete jobs on time, but the
typical “pre/post-PEAK season” schedule is Monday – Friday (40 – 47.5
hrs./wk.).
Saturday
work may be necessary from time to time, but most generally during PEAK.
PEAK
season (4th quarter) will require working additional hours/days
to complete the daily workload. However, minimizing the impact of working
additional hours will be in practice, through various means of supervision
coverage, to evenly distribute workload across all departmental supervision.
