Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review customer blueprints and requirements to estimate the machine time, raw materials and subcontractor services required to manufacture CNC precision machined parts.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation or models to prepare estimates, machine processes, material cost and subcontract services.
- Consult with customers, vendors, and company personnel to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
- Discuss with engineers and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
- Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, lead-times, and scheduling work.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years working with cost estimating in a CNC machining environment.
- Candidate should have a strong CNC machine shop background.
- Basic knowledge of CAD / CAM software.
- Advanced GD&T knowledge a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel.
- Ability to work independently as well in a team environment.
