Fundraising Chair Responsibilities:
- Coordinating our annual fundraising campaign with the local chairs in Austin
- Educating volunteers on how to best fundraise
- Writing appeal letters that create emotion and share real stories
- Training volunteers on how to effectively use our tools to turn requests into donations
This position has a time commitment varying between 0-5 hours per week and averages
approximately 1-2 hours per week. This position is designed so it can be held by individuals with other commitments.

As professionals, we come together to help low income youth get a college degree by providing scholarships. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and have chapters in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Austin, and Boston.
