Memorial Hospital has a position available for an EMS Coordinator. This position
is responsible for coordinating EMS services including scheduling, training and
record keeping along with responding to emergencies. We offer a competitive

· High school diploma or GED required

EMT,
Advanced Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic Licensing preferred
·
CPR
Certified
·
Ability
to physically perform duties
·
Must
possess excellent interpersonal skills
·
Good
written and verbal communication skills
·
Must
possess computer skills along with the ability to operate fax machines,
copiers, multi-line phone system and printers
·
Excellent
organizational and customer service skills required
·
Demonstrated
leadership skills
· Ability to maintain confidentiality required
Job Responsibilities:
· Provides global oversight for EMS and coordinates EMS services.
·
Participates
in EMS Calls during normal business hours and as available and needed after
hours.
·
Maintains
compliance with state requirements for reporting.
·
Coordinates
additional EMS Services including scheduling for consistent EMS coverage, supply
management and ambulance maintenance and repairs
·
Development/maintenance
of a qualified EMT workforce
·
Community
Outreach Education
·
Performs
Emergency treatment as required.
·
Promotes
and ensures patient safety in all aspects of responsibilities.
·
Other

Pawnee County Memorial Hospital is a 11 bed Critical access hospital located in Southeast Nebraska. Pawnee County Hospital offers general medical and surgical services normally associated with a rural Critical Access Hospital. A full range of radiology and laboratory services are available. The hospital and attached rural health clinic are staffed by two physicians and three mid-level practitioners as well as ER physicians on weekends. Specialists from Lincoln, Omaha and Beatrice hold outpatient clinics on a regular basis.
