Royal Basket Trucks is currently seeking a highly motivated full time Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team!

Description Summary: Under the direction of our R&D department the ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to technical drawings and specifications. The Sheet Metal Fabricator will work in a dynamic environment also assisting our R&D Department when needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Fabricate and weld metal components using techniques such as MIG welding
· Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly
· Operate forklifts to transport materials within the workshop
· Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in fabrication
· Work with sheet metal to create custom pieces
· Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and solve fabrication issues
Job Skills and Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding techniques
- Experience with TIG welding a plus
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of calipers and other measuring instruments for accurate fabrication
- Ability to weld steel and aluminum proficiently
- Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication challenges
